What is the Rotary District Conference?

The District Conference is the annual gathering of Rotarians, Rotaractors, partners and friends from District 9220. It is a week of inspiration, fellowship, learning and the celebration of club achievements.

The Conference will take place in Mauritius from 13-17 May 2026. Main sessions will be hosted at RM Garden, Trianon, with selected activities and events that may occur at additional approved locations.

All Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors (where appropriate), spouses, partners, alumni and invited guests are welcome to attend. All participants must complete the registration process.

Online registration opens on 1 December 2025 through the official Conference website. You will receive a confirmation email once payment is received and validated.

Registration fees will be published on the Conference website. They will typically include access to plenary sessions, conference materials, selected meals and events. Optional activities may have additional charges.

Registrations are transferable but not refundable. Participants requiring assistance with changes may contact the Secretariat.

Yes. Special conference rates will be available at partnering hotels. Booking details and links will be published on the website.

Shuttle transport may be arranged between major hotels and the Conference venue. Final details will be communicated closer to the event. Taxi services are widely available in Mauritius.

Yes. The conference package includes a defined set of meals (e.g., lunches, coffee breaks, gala dinner) depending on your registration type.
Participants with dietary restrictions may indicate these during registration.

  • Day sessions: Smart casual
  • Gala night: Formal / black-tie or traditional attire
  • Home Hospitality: Smart casual under the theme “Blue & Gold Evening of Fellowship”
  • Service project visits (if any): Comfortable clothing and closed shoes

Participants should bring their registration confirmation, comfortable clothing, personal medication and any Rotary materials they wish to share with others.

Absolutely. A partner’s programme or leisure activities may be arranged separately. Details will be communicated once finalised.

Yes. Rotaract (and Interact, if applicable) sessions or activities will be included to promote youth leadership and engagement.

Clubs may apply for project booths or presentations through the Secretariat. Slots are limited and allocated based on defined submission criteria.

Yes, corporate and individual sponsorship packages are available. Interested sponsors can contact the Conference Secretary.

Response time is usually within 24–48 hours.

Selected sessions may be recorded or streamed, subject to the audiovisual setup. More information will be provided closer to the event.

At present, there are no specific restrictions. If protocols are required by authorities, updates will be communicated.

The Conference theme aligns with the Rotary International theme for the year: “Unite For Good.” This theme will be reflected throughout the programme.

Rotarians and Rotaractors interested in volunteering may complete the online volunteer form.
Roles include registration support, ushering, logistics and hospitality services.
